As a child growing up in Chicago, I was fortunate to work at a community organization that gave me my first job at age 14. I still remember the skills I learned and how it helped to build my self esteem as well as gave me something positive to do. I decided to provide this sam
e opportunity to teens throughout the city. That's why Elijah's House exists.
Each year it costs $500.00 per quarter to provide job training for one youth involved in Elijah's House programs?
To date my organization has served hundreds of youth within the Chicagoland area and surburbs by helping them to stay employed, out of gangs and in school. This is a huge task and I need your help to continue to provide job training to teens in our communities. Giving $500.00 or any size donation whether it's $5, $10, $20, $30, to our programs will help pay for youth stipends, supplies, materials and equipment.
