What age should I be to enroll in a program at Elijah's House?
Elijah's House accepts ages 13 through 24 into its programs.
How do I enroll in a program at Elijah's House?
Elijah's House enrollment is aligned with the enrollment of Afterschool Matters. To enroll in one of our programs you must logon to

type in the words "Urban Teen" or "Elijah's House". Once you go to the second screen then click on Option 2 and complete an electronic application.
How much do the youth make at Elijah's House?
Youth enrolled in our programs are paid a stipend. The stipend amount varies each quarter. Normally youth earn between $350 and $535.00 per program.
How often do the programs run?
Elijah's House is open year around. Our programs run 10 weeks during the Spring, Fall/Winter and 6 weeks during the summer,
What are Apprenticeships?
Apprenticeships are programs that provide youth with hands-on job training oppportunities.
When can I enroll in Elijah's House programs?
At the moment enrollment is held during the months of January, June and October.
Where are Elijah's House programs located?
We are located on the westside of Chicago in the Austin community and in the Woodlawn community.
Can I volunteer at Elijah's House?
Yes. During the year we usually have many volunteers including college students, adults and young people.
